Jiva.ai wins Innovate UK funding for Advanced Diagnostics Innovation Programme

Summary 

Jiva.ai in collaboration with the University of Manchester and others, have been awarded part of a £5.5m Innovate UK grant on behalf of UKRI, to advance the use of novel diagnostics across Greater Manchester. The project is part of a cohort of 7 projects running concurrently. 

 

Background

Following on from the successful collaboration from 2020, due to complete early next year, where Jiva joined the University of Manchester, University of Nottingham, major industry players such as Roche Diagnostics, and GE Healthcare, as well as other SMEs for the Innovate UK award ID-Liver – a project accelerating the production of early diagnostic tools for Liver Disease (more details can be found here). This further project will see the team looking at automation in the liver disease diagnostics pathway.
