Jiva secures Cyber Essentials Plus Certificate

Following the completion of the Cyber Essentials Certificate back in April, Jiva is proud to announce it has successfully completed the requirements to earn a Cyber Essentials Plus certification. This recognition serves as a testament to the continued commitment by Jiva to cyber security and the robust cyber security measures the company has implemented to ensure the protection of its data and systems against diverse online threats. With cyber threats growing more sophisticated and persistent, the importance of robust cyber security cannot be overstated.

The Cyber Essentials certifications are a UK government-backed, industry-supported scheme that assists us in reducing the risk of data entrusted to us by clients, falling into the wrong hands. It is recognised by the Information Commissioner’s Office as a scheme that can provide security assurances that help protect personal data.

Completing the Cyber Essentials Plus certification involved an intensive independent testing and verification of Jiva’s cyber security infrastructure and more rigorous system vulnerability tests. Jiva was able to successfully demonstrate that its defences are capable of withstanding real-world cyber attacks, assuring its clients of the company’s continuous dedication to data security.

The certification showcases Jiva’s proactive approach to cyber security, putting it at the forefront of cyber defence. We take cybersecurity very seriously, and the Cyber Essentials Plus certification validates our ongoing efforts to provide our clients the peace of mind that we are committed to keeping the data they entrust to us safe.

What’s Next?

Our sights are now firmly set on achieving ISO 27001, this being an internationally recognised standard for information security management systems. The ISO framework is complementary to that of Cyber Essentials, however it goes considerably further in protecting information security systems and comes highly reputable.
