Jiva.ai is delighted to announce that the Board has appointed Dr Richard Hammersley as Chief Technical Officer, effective immediately, following the appointment of Dr. Manish Patel as CEO in August 2020.

Richard brings with him a wealth of experience in software development, data science, machine learning and Bayesian methods as well as the key management skills required to build a team from the ground up and bring Jiva to the forefront of AI in healthcare. As one might expect, he has a strong background in mathematics, software engineering and technical leadership.

Richard is a technology veteran with over 25 years of experience under his belt, the last 11 years in a hands-on technical lead role in some of the most complex and challenging industry sectors on the planet including Oil & Gas.

I am incredibly excited to welcome Richard on to our team. I’ve been in technology nearly 20 years and it is rare to find someone who can join up technical requirements with business needs as well as Richard can, whilst maintaining a deep understanding of how that technology can be delivered. Richard will be pivotal to the company’s success. We are very lucky to have him join us, and I wish him the very best of luck in his new role.
