06 Jan Jiva Welcomes Two New Hires

Jiva.ai is delighted to announce its latest hires; Esin Karahan and Linda Sidney to the team. 

Esin joins as a Data Scientist/AI Engineer and reports directly to CTO Richard Hammersley. She is based in our Cardiff office, located at Tramshed Tech.

Esin has a doctorate in Biomedical Engineering, Bogazici University, Istanbul and most recently was a Research Associate at Cardiff University Brain Imaging Centre. She is an expert in statistical data analysis and experienced in computational modelling, machine learning and time series analysis. Esin will therefore be working on JivaRDX – Jiva’s prostate cancer solution – as well contributing to platform development.

Linda joins as a Regulatory Assistant and reports directly to COO Sarah D’Souza. She will also be based in our Cardiff Office. 

Linda has an LLB(Hons) Degree in Law from the University of Glamorgan and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education from Cardiff University. She is highly experienced at operating a QMS in a customer services environment and comes from a highly regulated industry to assist with our compliance and audit requirements for JivaRDX, as well as our wider suite of products. 

I am absolutely delighted to welcome our new hires, Esin and Linda to the team. Esin’s role is critical to the evolution of our products, bringing expertise in medical imaging, time-series analysis and more. Linda’s role in our ongoing regulatory work is equally important to the commercial success of JivaRDX. Her experience in QMS, compliance and auditing fortifies Jiva’s position as a credible player in the AI medical diagnostics marketplace.

I am looking forward to how both Esin and Linda with their unique backgrounds and knowledge will help us unlock key features on the AI platform as well as JivaRDX.
