Recommender Systems

Recommender systems are a common request for clients in the retail space.

They will have a suite of thousands of products, often integrated with Shopify on their website, and the main issue is how to get products in front of the user that the consumer really cares about.

Increase Sales

Jiva.ai's client - a small, online retailer - wanted to make it easier for their clients to get to a product quickly, and therefore increase the chance of a sale. The Jiva team worked with the client to build a model that would work specifically with their product line and types of client. The model was also intelligent enough to not recommend inappropriate items, e.g. recommending alcohol to an underaged person.

Recommender systems, when hooked in with LLMs, can be incredibly unwieldly beasts. However, with the Jiva platform and its team in support, we were able to deliver a working model in record time and at a cost that worked for the client.
